Valentines Day

 Valentines Day started off with gifts from Mom and Dad, I made them cute little shirts. 

 We decorated there doors!  Presley was really excited, and Ridge didn't know quite what to think at first but then found out they were pretty fun to run through.

 This picture is priceless, I love this face he had just ran through the streamers.

 There was some drama and tears, over the fact that mom had got her Resies pieces and she doesn't like those and I was suppose to know that.  Which followed a conversation on being grateful and some kids don't get anything from their parents which added to the tears.  That's my girl!

 Dad brought both of his girls home some flowers.

 We decorated cookies, which was followed by a candle light dinner and then we ate our yummy cookies that I think were mostly sprinkles.

 They got spoiled by there grandparents as usual they have the best grandparents.  The Wilson's got them each a new pair of shoes.  The Robins sent them cards with money so they could get there own surprise.

It was a very exciting, very busy day.  As a working mom sometimes I feel like I try to over compensate on things like this so they will remember how much fun they were and not that they spent Valentines day at the baby sitters.  I love to spoil them and have fun surprises, kids make the holidays special.  Hope all my LOVES had a very Happy Valentines Day.

January 2013

      January never seems to be too exciting, we got some new winter hats and the kids wanted it to snow. It did one day and stuck for about a second and then melted. 
     Presley lost her first tooth, she can home from Jo's and said that her her gums were scratched.  So I took her in the bathroom to look and there was her new tooth coming in behind the baby one.  Within a week of Dad doing some major wiggling it was out and the tooth fairy came and left her $5 because it was her first tooth.  This tooth loosing business shouldn't be be happening for about another year.  Apparently we are going to do things early around here. 
     About the only other thing is sickness I hate the winter months for this reason, his poor little picture says it all he was miserable and it filtered through all of us.  I hate when my babies are sick.  Here's to the new year and making it a memorable one, filled with the people that I love!

Christmas 2012

Well Santa found my kids Presley asked for a guitar and Ridge got a race car track.  Ridgey opened his first two presents which were CAT trucks and tha'ts all he was interested in, so him and Grandpa played trucks.  Presley on the other hand just loved opening the presents and was very glad to help her brother.  She got some new cowgirl boots, dolls, little pet shops, and clothes.  Ridge got trucks, light up toys, blocks, and clothes.  After we opened presents we went to Grandma Beths for dinner.  After that we went to visit my family where the kids got to open their presents from them.  It was a lot better to have Ridge older and not 1 month.  It was fun to see their faces as they opened there gifts.  Presley enjoyed helping mom pick out presents, although she's not very good at keeping secrets.  We also learned a lot about her nativity set and the story behind it.  Love my sweet family and the memories that we get to make together. 

Preschool party!

 We made her cute Christmas shirt for her Preschool party, she looked so cute!

 Teacher read them 3 Gingerbread stories 2 that I had never heard.  I was so impressed with how good the kids were including mine.

Christmas Season

 I quite like this entire month I like people trying to give just a little bit more, trying to be just a bit nicer.  It should be how we are the other 11 months of the year but I'll take it for one.  I love being with family and traditions that we have and new ones to be added.  The elf on the shelf came to visit us this year he came with a knock on the door and brought Christmas jammies right from Santa. We named him Loop and had quite a bit of fun seeing where he was the next morning and if he had brought anything or done anything crazy that night.  There was also something else at the door as well, their Great Aunt Inalee had sent them Christmas pillowcases with a poem that told all about the Christmas Magic they held and the good dreams they would have while sleeping on them.  We put them on right away.  I try to impress upon them that we are very fortunate and that others aren't so lucky so we always try to do a little something for someone else.  We couldn't find a giving tree down here, so we bought a couple toys and put them in the Toys for Tots bin.  I love this time of year and I hope that my kids will grow up loving it as well, that they will try and have Christ like attitudes and do things for others and not only themselves.

 Loop crash landed Dad's helicopter in the light.  We came out to a dark kitchen and blue and red lights flashing we couldn't figure out what was going on.

Gingerbread Houses

We went back to Gingerbread houses this year to decorate Loop our Elf on the Shelf brought it too us.  Press was more than excited to decorate, and sneak a few treats.  She did a great job and really got into this year.  Ridge just tried to tear everything down so he will have to wait until next year to help.  Love my sweet girl, she is getting way to big on her mom, and I really don't like it!  Can't they just stay little forever.

Christmas Tree Hunt

We were able to go with the family to help Uncle Jace and Aunt Krystal get their Christmas Tree.  The kids loved playing in the snow as you can tell by the pictures.  They had a tree all picked out so all we had to do was go and get it.  The weather was around 50 so it was a perfect day to find a Christmas Tree and play in the snow.
